Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
MIT Sloan works to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment through partnering with MIT community members and outside organizations. The MIT Sloan Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’s mission is to create proactive, research-supported initiatives and programs that promote MIT’s Values. We develop engagement and learning opportunities that help us design and deliver data-driven solutions to advance systemic change. MIT Sloan’s Career Development Office holds its “Writing the Code: Telling Our Stories” career workshop series that focuses on the stories of alumni from historically marginalized communities. In addition, our Admissions Office partners with minority-serving institutions (MSIs) like Native American-serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTIs), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Hispanic-serving institutions (HSIs) to recruit students from underrepresented backgrounds.
