Navigating the countless opportunities at MIT & MIT Sloan can feel overwhelming, especially when it comes to charting your career path in sustainability. That’s why we are developing Streams of Study, a growing resource designed to make your journey easier, more intentional, and—most importantly—actionable.
With the help of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, we have started with one of the most popular areas: Climate Tech.

Many students come to MIT Sloan because of its reputation as a hub for innovation—whether launching their own venture, joining an early-stage startup, or exploring opportunities in venture capital.
With Streams of Study, you can:
- Discover what alumni have done before you
- Understand the key skills to develop for success in this space
- Explore relevant classes that build those skills
- Find student clubs, conferences, and communities to get involved with
- Uncover career resources to help you land an internship or full-time opportunity
Think of this as your first step on your journey—simplifying how you navigate MIT's extraordinary sustainability ecosystem and beyond.
We will be expanding our Streams of Study toolkit to other sustainability areas soon–stay tuned! In the meantime, we would love for you to explore this resource, bookmark it for future needs, and share your feedback. This is meant to be a living document, evolving alongside the interests and insights of our community.
