Three MIT Sloan alumni have been named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 lists for 2019. The annual lists, according to Forbes, celebrate the “brashest entrepreneurs across the United States and Canada.”
Seed CX
Edward Woodford and Brian Liston, both 2015 Master of Finance graduates, are the founders of Seed CX. The Chicago-based company is the first licensed cryptocurrency exchange offering technology and market safeguards for institutions trading in the new digital market.
Seed CX is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and has a pending broker-dealer license with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Seed CX has more than $25 million in funding. According to the founders, they're looking to expand Seed CX's workforce and physical trading infrastructure.
Seed CX was named to the enterprise technology category.
Evisort
Amine Anoun, SM ’17, and Harvard grads Jerry Ting and Jake Sussman co-founded Evisort to use artificial intelligence to automate contract reviews for lawyers. The company was named to the law and policy category.
Evisort is backed by tech luminaries including Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Jeff Bezos through the venture capital fund of Village Global and the San Francisco-based Amity Ventures.
