Austin J Van Groningen

Austin Van Groningen leads member engagement for the MIT Center for Information Systems Research (CISR). He strives to deepen CISR’s impact by enhancing current member relationships and providing others with opportunities to engage.

Before coming to MIT CISR, Austin worked in operations, policy and philanthropic fundraising roles in the higher education sector, including with the Australian Technology Network of Universities and the University of Melbourne. He also has experience in management consulting and in the not-for-profit sector. He is a director of Red Dust, a not-for-profit committed to promoting health within Indigenous Australian communities.

Austin holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
