About
Nia DeYounge is the Director of the Student Life Office at MIT Sloan School of Management.
With fun, enthusiasm, and lots of listening, her mission is to advocate for students and help them navigate MIT Sloan. The Student Life Office’s goal is to help students find their way outside of the classroom experience; they do this by focusing on three areas: community engagement, care, and student contribution.
Prior to MIT Sloan, Nia was Director of Bentley University’s Center for International Students and Scholars, advising and maintaining compliance for the University's F-1 and J-1 visa programs. Nia studied for her undergrad degree at Stanford University, holds an MA from Boston University, and is studying higher education at UMass Boston. She is also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and strives to empower students to understand their unique talents and contributions.
