Joann de Zegher is a Research Affiliate at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Her research examines the design of technologies and algorithms that address supply chain challenges in developing and emerging markets, by combining methods from large-scale field work, optimization, computer science, econometrics, and action research.
She holds an MS in econometrics and management science from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a PhD from Stanford University.
Joann de Zegher is Founder and President of PemPem, which develops mobile supply chain management software for micro-enterprises in commodity supply chains.
